Responsible for the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, cost effective analysis of assemblies and production support systems. Process changes I made resulted in 25% increase in throughput of final assembly lines in 1997. Understand and use Theory of Constraints in assembly line setup and throughput analysis. Control Production process documentation and process/product validations in compliance with FDA GMP/QSR requirements. Supervise personnel supporting the documentation and database analyst functions. Understand and use MRP. Work closely with Materials Control,Orders Processing, Customer Service, Marketing and R&D Engineering.
Daily chairperson in our Zero Defects Committee where Kaizen concepts are discussed and yield improvements analyzed. In addition, we review weekly; supplier issues, R&D Engineering design for manufacturability of new products, customer feedback, and open action items for corrective action and continuous improvement.
